Hela Urumaya has made no contribution at all to the development of the Sasana – Ven. Uduwatte Nanda Thero

Kandy district JHU M.P Ven. Udawatte Nanda Thero yesterday (10) , said , the JHU had done nothing towards the growth or development of the Buddha Sasana.

The Ven. Thero speaking in Parliament at the emergency extension debate said , because of the selfishness and self centeredness of these JHU leaders , they have digressed from the noble objects for which the party was inaugurated.

At the last general elections the JHU secured 9 seats , but this time the signs are they have lost their popularity at the elections ,he noted.

The Ven Udawatte Nanda Thero deeply regretted that the JHU by pursuing personal agendas could not achieve any of the original objectives.
